General Information

The dance will be open for all homeschool teens [and private school teens] throughout the New River Valley [and surrounding areas] in the grades 9th through 12th OR ages 14 to 19, which includes transitional seniors taking college courses. Students must NOT be younger than 14 and no older than 19 by the date of the event. .

To attend the formal, you MUST be a homeschool student OR a guest of a homeschool student OR an invited private school student. All attendees [students and guests] must register for the event and agree to the guidelines/dress code/code of conduct. All ticket sales will be final and NO refunds will be given.

This is a formal occasion. Modest, appropriate formal wear should be worn. Please help us avoid embarrassing moments at the door. The dress code will be strictly enforced by a chaperone solely in charge of dress code enforcement, and those not adhering to the dress code will be required to return home for appropriate clothing. Mature behavior is expected from everyone. If a student is asked to leave the formal by a chaperone, a parent will be called. No refund will be issued. More information about conduct can be found on that page.
